The Vice-President of the Republic, H.E. Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue, has given the Department of Land Planning the go-ahead to process the allocation of 35 plots in the city of La Paz, requested by companies, ministries and embassies of friendly countries accredited to Equatorial Guinea.

The decision was taken during a meeting to review construction works being undertaken by the Government in the province of Djibloho.

During the meeting, the commission assessed façade designs for buildings intended for the ministries of Public Works, Mines, Social Affairs, Agriculture and Forests. It also examined the project to build Unity Square in La Paz.

In view of the progress and quality of the work presented, the Vice-President authorised the preparation of the documentation needed to launch international tenders for the first four ministerial building projects ready for this stage.

Each building will be subject to a separate tender, enabling interested companies to examine and assess individually the project for which they wish to bid.
